After finding the note on my door yesterday, I rigged up a flashlight to my old camcorder. I waited until midnight and smoked like a chimney (yes, I'm off the wagon for now). The prescribed time rolled around and I began my short walk out to the parking lot. I went to the lamp-post where I woke up the other night and found an envelope taped to it.
Inside was a playing card. A Five of Spades that he had drawn his symbol on. On the back of the card was a crude map, leading me to a spot out in the woods near the power lines. I followed the map and came to the path that runs parallel to the towers. He was there, waiting for me.
The same guy, black clothes, black hat, blue sunglasses. He was writing with a stick around the edges of a circle in the dirt. I confronted him, asking him what he wants.
"I just want to be your friend" he said.
Naturally, I was indignant at this. I pursued a line of questioning, which culminated in his telling me that he needs for me to help him find the "keys." I am totally unclear as to what these keys are or where to find them, but the stranger assured me that I had seen them before and would see them again.
I refused. I don't want to be a part of this- so I told him that I don't want to help him. He knelt down onto the ground and scooped some dust into his palm.
The next thing I remember is waking up in my bed this morning.
I found his glasses along with that playing card by my computer.
I have taken a few days off of work and traveled to Charleston. Mike and I watched the footage from my camera and I added some text to it so that it can sort of stand alone. I will add it to the end of this post.
Mike was able to track down the nephew that was in charge of the estate sale. We will call him tomorrow afternoon.
Here is the video from last night. Please leave comments and such. Advice, help, anything is appreciated.

Interesting story. Freaky but interesting. I'm really interested in rootwork (especially in charleston my namesake is the Ashley river and my folks live there) but after this not so sure if I should mess with it :) keep posting!
